Accessibility

Ashby Hastings Primary School and Symphony Learning Trust are committed to making our website as accessible as possible to all users.  Our website can be adapted in the following ways to make it more accessible:-

• Readable text and contrast – We use clear fonts, appropriate colour contrast, and resizable text options to assist users with visual impairments.
• Captions and transcripts – Any videos on our site include subtitles or transcripts for those with hearing impairments.

• Adjustable content – Users can modify text size, contrast, or spacing without breaking the website layout.

• Keyboard Navigation –  Our website can be partially navigated using a keyboard without having to make any changes to accessibility settings.  

Going forward we are committed to adding Text alternatives to images, charts, and other non-text content, so that this descriptive alternative text can be used by screen readers to describe them. 

Some of our historic PDFs cannot be read by screen readers but newer documents can.  If required paper copies of all policies and forms can be requested from the School Office.  Please contact them on 01530 442480 for help.
